For women

Antenatal and postnatal care

We support you before and after delivery.

Before delivery, we offer checkups, scans, tests and free Lamaze classes. We track your health and your baby's health so that any issues are caught before they become emergencies. Our antenatal packages start from a deposit of UGX 100,000.

Maternity

We monitor your baby during labour with a CTG machine, which tracks your baby's heartbeat and your contractions, so we can respond quickly if we need to.

If your newborn baby needs help, a paediatrician is there to attend.

We offer delivery programmes to fit a range of budgets.

Gynaecology

From routine screenings to conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, prolapse, infertility, menopause and cancers of the reproductive system: whatever you're dealing with, we take your symptoms and your questions seriously, we explain your options and you stay in control.

For children

Paediatrics

Whisper Hospital began as a children's hospital and children remain at the heart of what we do. Our paediatricians see children from birth to teens; they talk to the child at their level and the parents are kept informed. Our building is bright, our staff wear brightly coloured scrubs, and there's a playground and toys to play with. Hospital visits are never fun but a child who feels safe will heal faster.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Our NICU provides round the clock care to premature or critically ill babies, with incubators and phototherapy units. Highly trained neonatal care personnel give your baby the best possible care. Thousands of babies have been cared for in our NICU.

As a service fee, we request a contribution of UGX 5,000 per visit. Appointments are scheduled monthly for regular check-ups and personalised care.

Sickle Cell Clinic

Our free sickle cell clinic runs on Wednesdays from 8am. All medication is included: blood tests, folic acid, Fansidar, vitamin D and hydroxyurea.
