WISE, Whisper's Nursing School

Uganda has a shortage of doctors 🩺, and the productivity of this scarce resource can be improved by good nursing staff. Whisper's International School of Nursing Excellence (WISE) opened in 2022 to address this.

🎓 Full-time courses

The school offers three courses:

• The Certificate in Nursing is a 5-semester course
• The Diploma in General Nursing is a 6-semester course
• The Extension Programme is a 3-semester course which upgrades a Certificate in Nursing to a Diploma in General Nursing

🌍 Internationally recognised qualifications

Graduates of the Diploma in General Nursing can sit the NCLEX exams, which qualify them to work as a nurse in the USA , Canada , Australia and a few other countries. There is also a route to qualifying for the UK's National Health Service (NHS) .

WISE offers the Galen Advanced Practice Course, a specialised nursing training designed to enhance clinical skills and the delivery of exceptional patient care.
